Rising to the crazy challenge of producing a vineyard tractor in Alsace
An unsual look, surprising dimensions… Here’s the TractoVigne, a wine-grower’s tractor manufactured in Alsace by the Guillet Group. The company is headed up by Fabien Guillet. In 2014, he was approached by Louis Dromson, the designer of a defunct tractor made in Sélestat: the JDS.
Guillet takes up the challenge
The Guillet Group employs over 120 people, specialising in the transformation of stainless steel, aluminum and steel, and the manufacture of technical components for the food, pharmaceutical, events and rail industries, among others.
Recognised as a subcontractor, the group is looking to develop its own brands, such as Tractovigne and MovingStage.
